Day 1

Arrive at Bilbao and transfer to overnight accommodation at Oxtandio near Vitoria-Gasteiz.

Day 2

After an early breakfast, we’ll depart for nearby Gorbea park which is a 20-minute drive away. After a morning session, we can take lunch nearby and continue photographing or wait until the later light, returning to our accommodation before venturing out.

Day 3

There’s the opportunity to return to Gorbea first thing, for morning misty conditions before visiting our second location, Nacedero de Urederra, a short drive away. Once there, this is a 3-hour trek, past cascades and pools of water. We’ll spend the day here before returning to our accommodation at Oxtandio.

Day 4

Our third location is Irati Forest, the second largest beach tree forest in Europe around a 3 hours drive away. Here we’ll take an overnight stay at Hostal Rural Iratiko Urkixokoa. We’ll have a late afternoon session followed by one the following morning before checking out.

Day 5

Before departing the area, there’s the chance to visit the nearby munitions factory,  before heading on to Ordessa Natural Park. (3.5 hours drive)

Day 6

Explore the valleys at Ordessa.

Day 7

Explore the valleys at Ordessa.

Day 8

9.00 am depart for Bilbao airport. 6 hours drive. You can extend your stay in Bilbao which is an interesting city to explore.
