1. Your contract is with:

Images in the Sun travel photography.

2. The business

We arrange inclusive photography holidays and travel photography tours and our published price is inclusive of airport transfers, accommodation, all breakfast and evening meals except where Tours are advertised exclusive of evening dining. The published itinerary can from time to time change due to seasonal changes.

3. Your holiday contract

A contract between us will exist once your deposit has cleared and we have confirmed this via email. You have a 7 day cooling off period from this time if you wish to cancel.  This clause will not apply if your booking was made within 4 weeks of your holiday.

4. Prices & Payment

After an initial deposit is paid, the remaining balance in due 4 weeks before commencement of the holiday.

5. If you wish to transfer your booking to another date.

If for any reason you decide to transfer your booking to another date, the option must be exorcised at least 4 weeks before commencement of your holiday and is subject to tour availability.

6. If you cancel your booking

If for any reason you cancel your holiday after you have settled the balance you must notify us via email. The cancellation of your holiday comes into effect upon receipt of the written notification from you and the following cancellation charges will be charged:

Less than 4 weeks before the start date – 60% of the total holiday.

Less than 2 weeks before start date – 80%
of the total holiday.

Less than 7 days before start date – 100% of the total holiday.

These charges exclude flights and apply to all monies due to us at the time of cancellation.

No refunds are available once a course has commenced, or in respect of any other products or services booked or utilised.

7. If we cancel or amend your booking

Cancellations will take place only due to extreme or unforeseen circumstances. There is no minimum number to run a holiday with Images in the Sun. In the event of us making a cancellation, an alternative holiday date or a full refund will be offered.

8. Insurance

No compensation of any kind or responsibility can be taken if due to a circumstance beyond our control. A circumstance beyond our or our supplier’s control is one that cannot be foreseen or avoided, even after taking all due care and includes but is not limited to war, terrorist activity, civil unrest, industrial disputes and bad weather situations or forecasts.

9. Travel Insurance

It is a condition of booking one of our travel photography holidays with you that you and all members of your party have suitable and sufficient travel insurance to cover your journey as we cannot be held responsible for any liability, expenses or losses you incur as a result of being inadequately insured. We strongly recommend that at the time of booking a comprehensive travel insurance policy is purchased.

10. Our Liabilities

We accept responsibility for ensuring that the holiday arrangements you book with us are supplied as described but sometimes the itinerary or accommodation may change.  Furthermore we cannot accept responsibility for any services that do not form part of our contract. This includes, for example, any additional services that you procure whilst on location that are not part of our package.  These relate to ‘downtime activities’ as promoted on the website. We shall have no liability for your holiday or death or personal injury you may suffer on our part or that of our supplier thus travel and health insurance is mandatory. The accommodation and transport arranged on your behalf belong to and are managed by an independent supplier who is subject to Public Liability Insurance.

Images in the Sun accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever for any government restraints, acts of war and terrorism, weather conditions, or for any misadventure or casualty or any other force majeure or causes beyond their control. Subject to the terms and conditions on this site, our liability shall be limited to up to the price paid for the booked arrangements.

11. Your responsibilities

Our transfer vehicle leaves the airport at the time specified in our correspondence. It is the responsibility of anyone missing our transfer to make his or her own way to the destination hotel unless flight delays affects all travellers on the holiday for that week.  Delays will incur a charge of £25 if they are more than two hours and you fail to notify us before departure.  The address and telephone number of destination hotel will be sent to you prior to departure.  You should use this number to alert of a potential delay of more than 2 hours.

Holidays as advertised on our website are low risk with regard to crime and you will be partly exploring locations on your own. Travel photography is exciting but also requires being aware of your surroundings. In the interests of safety you should undertake to follow the advice of the instructor, comply with any local codes of conduct, follow the country code and act sensibly and prudently at all times.  Local codes of conduct will be made clear to you upon arrival and relate to dress and photography of people. Single women are safe to explore alone.  It’s more safe then many UK towns, however you should still act sensibly. You also agree to indemnify us from all loss and/or damage arising from any act of default on your part relating to an illegal act or offence we shall cease to have any responsibility to or for you.

It is your responsibility to ensure that your passport and vaccinations are up to date:

Non EU residents should check visa requirements with their consulate, and obtain one if necessary. Residents of the United Kingdom do not require a visa but should have a full 10 year British passport with at least 6 months remaining from the date of your return home. Typhoid and Hepatitis A are recommended for travel to Morocco.

12. Complaints

If you have a problem during your holiday, please inform us immediately so that we might Endeavour to put things right. If your complaint is not resolved locally, please follow this up within 21 days of your return home by writing to us with your booking reference and all other relevant information. It is strongly recommended that you communicate any complaint to us without delay.  If you fail to follow this simple procedure we will have been deprived of the opportunity to investigate and rectify your complaint whilst you were in ‘resort’ and this may affect your rights under this contract.
